The Price List Updater generates a report showing which prices were updated, the old and new prices, the amount and % of price change.  The following is a sample report:

The line in yellow above represents a new product that was not in the old or main price list.  Some users will first run the above report, sort on price change, and then use this list to update prices that should go up.  For those that are lower, they do not update, leaving the old prices to maximize profit.  The price analysis report insures that you know what prices changed and by how much.

Although we use the word "prices", prices can selling price, cost (the price you bought something for), or any value you wish to update from one list to another.

The main dialog of the Price List Updater looks like the following:

Once you select the option you want, you are prompted for the the old and new prices and for the columns containing their identification or product numbers.  Data is loaded based on identification numbers or product numbers.  The Price List Updater is completely menu driven.
