Add-ins.com LLC began business in 1994 as Macro Systems, specializing in custom Excel macros. We recently changed our name to Add-ins.com LLC to better reflect our focus on add-in for Microsoft Excel products.

Our products have been top rated by many of the independent software sites and magazines. Recently three of our products (Spreadsheet Assistant, Cell Color Assistant, and Sheet Navigator) took the top position for add-ins for Microsoft Excel in PC Magazine's annual utilities issue.

In Microsoft Press's book on Office 2003 our Spreadsheet Assistant is the only add-in for Microsoft Excel (evaluation copy) distributed on the book's CD.

The following is a screen shot of a code signing certificate we were issued (as Add-ins.com LLC) by Thawte. Thawte only issues such certificates after they have authenticated a company by confirming that the company does in fact exist, that the company has authorized the certificate application, and that the person submitting the certificate application on behalf of the company was authorized to do so. We sign all of our Excel products and our add-in installation EXEs to provide another level of security and trust, and to allow our users to maintain their Excel security set to high, the default setting in Excel.
