The Row Assistant for Microsoft Excel makes it easy to hide or show rows on your worksheets. Instead of manually searching through your rows, just use the Row Assistant to do the searching! It can quickly display just the matching rows. The main dialog of the Row Assistant looks like the following:
The Search range is typically a column, but can be multiple columns. One can specify many different types of tests, and multiple search for words or values. There is an option to have a second test, and it may be either an "And" or and "Or" test.
Options allow one to show matching rows or hide matching rows. If all rows need to be displayed, one would use the Show all rows option.
