If you have downloaded and installed a number of the templates from Microsoft or other locations, you will be surprised at how quickly your PC fills up with templates you do not want. or how they are not named so you can recognize them.  To rename or delete a template do the following:

  • Excel 97-2003: File, New, select templates
  • Excel 2007: Office Button, New, select templates
  • Excel 2010: File, New, select templates
