The Multi-Column Sorter for Microsoft Excel makes it easy to select your data range, your header rows, and to sort up to 10 columns at a time. Which would you rather use when you sort your data? The Microsoft Excel sort dialog:

The first dialog above makes it easy to select your data range and your header rows. You can either select the data range manually or use the Quick Fill option to select your data range. No more guessing what range Excel is going to sort. And, if you use the Quick Fill options, it warns you regarding cells outside your selection not being sorted. Once you specify your data range and header rows (which are optional), the second dialog appears. If you have specified multiple header rows, then the entries in those rows will be concatenated together for easy to identify column descriptions. This is true even if the header rows contain merged cells! Use the Multi-Column Sorter to sort up to 10 columns - no more guessing how to do so with Excel's small sort dialog.
