The Macro Button Assistant for Microsoft Excel expands your choice of macro buttons from the smiley face button:
to over 1800 buttons as illustrated by the following button set. There are a total of EIGHT such button sets!
If you don't know how to write macros, learn using our downloadable books on how to write Microsoft Excel macros and get the Macro Button Assistant as a bonus! You can use the Macro Button Assistant to create text buttons as illustrated by the following personal toolbar that has six text macro buttons that run a set of forecast macros. Text buttons are often better because you can easily see the purpose of the buttons.
When you use the Macro Button Assistant you can put the button on an existing toolbar or have the Macro Button Assistant create a new toolbar for you. In Microsoft Excel 2007 and 2010, the new toolbars and buttons will appear on the Add-ins Ribbon for easy use. In Microsoft Excel 2007-2010, the Macro Button Assistant allows you to create custom toolbars, show hidden toolbars, delete or renamed the buttons on a custom toolbar, change the image of a button, and re-arrange the buttons on a toolbar. These are features that Microsoft removed from Excel when they released Excel 2007 and 2010.
