The ISO NSVRP CSV File Creator allows you to easily create CSV files for the NMVTIS program submission.  The reporting requirements for ISO-NSVRP are extremely difficulty to do manually.  This add-in for Excel is completely menu driven and easily creates the CSV needed for NMVTIS reporting.

The starting dialog is very simple:

The first button will create the file.  The second button checks for essential missing data to help you stop obvious problems you can correct quickly.  When you click either button, you are first prompted for the title row

Once you specify the title row, the ISO NSVRP CSV File Creator will check the titles.  Your data columns can be in any order.  The only requirement is that the titles of your columns be recognized.  For example, "Title" or "TITLE #" are both recognized as the titles column.  A list of the allowed titles and variations are found by clicking on the How to Use button on the main dialog.  You may also have other columns on the data sheet.  Only the needed columns will be put into the CSV file.

Next, you are asked for the data range:

Most users will use the first option, Export from the first row to the last row.  The second option is only used if you are submitting a subset of rows from a large worksheet.

When the ISO NSVRP CSV File Creator creates the CSV file, it will copy the matching columns to the CSV file.  The columns will be put in the correct order and given the exact title needed for data submission (ie, "Title #" versus "Title").  All need columns must be in the worksheet.  If a column is missing or titles duplicated, a message advising the problem will be presented instead.

If you do the create a CSV file option, all data rows (excluding blank rows) are put into the CSV file, including ones that may have missing data.  The processing company will do a very detailed validation of your data and advise of any data issues.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

Each user who has the ISO NSVRP CSV File Creator installed on their machines needs to purchase a license. For example, if you install on three computers belonging to three different people, then three licenses need to be purchased.  If you install on a work PC and on a home PC or a portable used by the same person, then only one license needs to be purchase.
