What does Blank! do? It just displays a blank screen that stays on top of all the other screens. Why? To hide annoying flash advertisements and other animated ads that are on the screen. The following is an example of using Blank to hide the ads while playing chess on Yahoo!'s chess forum:

Blank is super easy to use. You just resize it to the size needed to hide the ad and place it over the ad. Blank! stays on top so that you can use the application and not see the ads! Close it or minimize it when you don't need it.
